Research Assistant II in the HKJC Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention  within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 201801069) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor degree or above in Statistics/Social Sciences or related discipline. The appointee should have excellent written and spoken skills in Chinese/Cantonese and English, good interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills (i.e., Microsoft office suite); and solid knowledge of quantitative methodologies and statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS/SAS). They should also be logical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.  Those with high level quantitative skills in analyzing panel surveys and large data base and geo-spatial data are preferred. The appointee will be involved in literature and policy review, data collection and analysis, data management, preparation of manuscripts and reports, and administrative work.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
