Technician in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: ­­­­201801174) (to commence as soon as possible on a two year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in pharmaceutical science or related disciplines, with at least 1 year's post-qualification laboratory experience. Experience in chemical analysis such as high performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography, cell culture, and/or animal handling would be an advantage. Applicants should be self-motivated and hard-working. They should also have good problem-solving skills and strong communication skills. The appointee is expected to assist in the preparation and teaching of undergraduate practical on the manufacture and analysis of various types of pharmaceutical formulations (e.g. tablets, capsules, aerosols, suspensions and emulsions, etc.), and assist in drug delivery research projects.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
