Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Public Education Officer) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 499151) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioural Health, Counselling or a related discipline, with at least 3 years’ solid experience working in mental health rehabilitation, preferably on elderly depression, in local social service sector. He/She should have a good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese); and effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience in public education and/or community mental health promotion is highly desirable.
The appointee will join the Jockey Club JoyAge Project to coordinate all communications with the participating NGOs for delivering the Project, organise training for social workers and peer supporters, public education events and other mass programmes.
