Analyst Programmer (at the rank of IT Technician) in the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 499219) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in IT project management, system analysis and computer programming including in-depth knowledge of PHP, MY SQL, MS Excel Macro, Java, ASP.NET, ASP and CSS.  Experience in IT system development, system administration and server maintenance in Windows server, Exchange server, Linux, Unix and MAC, and knowledge of IT security, data privacy security and data analytics would be an advantage.  They should be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and hard-working. 

The appointee will be responsible for system analysis, development and administration; overall IT infrastructure establishment and maintenance; IT project management, and website development and maintenance.  He/She may also provide technical support to events and functions and perform ad hoc projects as assigned, as well as general help desk support.  Those with more experience may be appointed at the rank of IT Officer.
