Executive Officer in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (Ref.: 499223) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ relevant administrative experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; IT proﬁciency; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. They should also demonstrate the capacity for independent action, and the ability to perform diversified duties under pressure.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Department, and play a resourceful role in leading clerical staff in a wide spectrum of administrative work related to (i) secretarial support to departmental committees, (ii) teaching programme administration and accreditation submission, (iii) research and knowledge exchange, or (iv) other general services. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a written test and interview.
