Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 499511), to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
This post is created specifically to bring new impetus and vigour to the University’s research enterprise, and to meet the strategic research needs identified by the Department of Microbiology. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with extensive research experience in cellular and molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology and virology. Experience in cell imaging would be an advantage. Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team, with good communication skills in English. The appointee will conduct research on virus host interaction.
