Research Assistant II (several posts) in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref: 499528) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in medicine, public health, social science or related disciplines, with relevant background in biomedical science, biology, biochemistry, and/or epidemiology. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. They should be able to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those who plan to pursue postgraduate studies.

The appointee will work on research projects related to developing pediatric and adolescent cohorts and big-data based epidemiology. He/She will design survey, collect and analyse data, and provide administrative support to the research team. On-the-job training on data collection and research methodology will be provided.
