Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (Ref.: 499677), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology consists of a team of enthused scientists and clinicians, and is looking for a prospective team member to assist in conducting research projects. The Department has recently acquired a 3T MRI and micro PET-MR scanners. The team is pursuing important research questions in various areas including, but not limited to, multi-contrast labelling studies, in vivo animal studies, ex-vivo specimens studies, phantom and dosimetric studies.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. Clinical experience in MRI and micro PET/MR core facilities would be an advantage. They should be self-driven, highly motivated, creative with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; and be able to work in a dynamic, diverse and forward thinking department with an international working environment.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
