Full-time/Part-time Clerk II (holding the functional title of Business Development Officer) in the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (Ref.: 500269) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in business administration or marketing.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multiple tasks effectively and independently. Preference will be given to those who have experience in food supply chain management, vendor relationship, sales coordination and digital marketing.

The appointee will work for “HSBC Rural Sustainability Programme” to support the operation of a community-based incubation platform for local agricultural processing development. He/She will be responsible for branding and marketing locally made farm products, liaising with suppliers and vendors, managing sales and stock, and conducting market research. The appointee will work closely with the product development team, local farmers and producers. He/She will work at a licensed food kitchen in the New Territories and work occasionally at the University campus.  Information about the programme can be obtained at http://www.socsc.hku.hk/psl/laichiwo/en/.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits for full-time/part-time (50% or above) appointment.
