Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 500276) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Public Administration, Public Policy or a related discipline, with at least three years’ post-qualification work experience in policy study, elderly, family, project management, or disabilities setting. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.

The appointee will work for multiple projects on family caregiving and caregiving policy study. He/She will be responsible for literature review; data collection and data analysis; preparation of presentations, manuscripts and reports; liaison with elderly people and NGOs partners; supervision of research helpers; and other research-related duties as assigned by the investigators. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
