Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 500522) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the higher education sector. They should be attentive to details, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude, and competent in discharging complex clerical duties. They should also be able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. A good command of English and Chinese, effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and IT competence are essential. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant). The appointee will provide executive support to senior administrators on a wide spectrum of tasks, including but not limited to academic programme management, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, event coordination and management, committee support, student support services, and general office administration. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
