Multimedia Development Manager/Officer (at the rank of IT Manager/Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 500598) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years’ professional work experience in multimedia and production management, including at least 3 years' supervisory experience. They are expected to have a strong background in multimedia development including storytelling, closed captioning and all stages of multimedia production; have a good sense in developing high quality multimedia resources up to the required standards; have the ability to manage workflows to meet tight timelines of multiple projects; and supervise a team of dynamic and talented multimedia personnel. Knowledge of storyboard design, color correction, audio engineering and sound design, Adobe After Effect and Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere CC, latest multimedia technology (e.g. 360° video), knowledge management system and photography are required. Proficiency in English and strong communication skills with people of diverse background are essential. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Multimedia Development Officer (at the rank of IT Officer).
The appointee is expected to lead the team to develop online courses, e-learning videos, teaching and learning related materials and other e-resources as required; schedule and ensure proper utilization of organization's facilities and personnel for production; consult with internal and external clients to determine most efficient execution of production design; provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility; give input into developing the budget; resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with stakeholders from various departments of the Faculty.
