Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) Office (Ref.: 502268) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good University degree with at least 4 years’ relevant work experience, preferably from tertiary institutions or similar organisations. The applicant should possess excellent personal, organisational and problem-solving skills and punctiliousness, be a quick learner, and be able to work independently. The applicant should be competent to handle multi-tasks, and be self-motivated with common sense. He/She should also have a good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua; and IT proficiency (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Working outside office hours may be required occasionally.
Reporting directly to the General Manager (Administration and Operation) (GM), the appointee will provide administrative and clerical support for the JUPAS Office.
The major responsibilities of the appointee will be: (1) general liaison between teams on daily operations and maintaining flow and exchange of information as required to ensure efficient and seamless operation across teams; (2) perform bookkeeping and accounting works; process payment vouchers/purchase orders; (3) provide logistic and clerical support for office meetings; and (4) assist the GM in ad hoc and peripheral duties related to office health and safety, staff arrangements, office events, and other duties as assigned.
