Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in Community Child Health Unit in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref.: 502286) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Community Child Health, Public Health, Social Sciences, Education, Psychology or healthcare-related disciplines. Experience in research projects would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written English and Chinese, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and good problem-solving, communication, organizational and administrative skills. They should also be self-motivated, highly committed, and able to work in a team and to coordinate research activities independently. The appointees will support the daily operations of a large-scale school- and community-based multidisciplinary project. They will perform fieldwork in different settings, data collection and entry; prepare reports and presentations; provide administrative support; and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
