Assistant Manager/Senior Project Officer for Digital Strategy and Communications (at the rank of Executive Officer/ Clerk I) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 502399) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 3 years' experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations, at a public/quasi-public organization.  They should have native English language ability. An excellent command of written and spoken Chinese is desirable. 

Applicants should have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and the ability to produce high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.  Proven experience and demonstrated track record in one or more of the following areas are essential: (i) digital communications; (ii) journalism; (iii) multimedia production; (iv) web content production; (v) medical writing; and (vi) web development.  Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Senior Project Officer.  

The appointee will support all aspects of digital strategy and communications, including interviewing, writing compelling stories, and coordinating digital content initiatives. Serving as a key member of the Strategic Communications team, the appointee will also produce coverage and write-ups of Faculty-organized events, initiatives, and campaigns for email, social media, and the Faculty’s website. He/She may be tasked to perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned in support of the Faculty's mission, core values and goals.
