Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Health Economics, Policy and Management of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 503017) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in biostatistics, econometrics, mathematics, computer sciences, data analytics, or related disciplines, with at least three years' work experience. They should have strong communication skills in English and Chinese, and a keen interest in public health policy research using quantitative methods. They should be detail-orientated and able to work collaboratively in a team. Quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical or computer modelling software (e.g. R, Python, Stata, Matlab) are highly preferred. Those with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant I/II.
The appointees will assist in research projects related to the economic evaluation of healthcare services, econometric modelling of public health policy, and assessment of burden of disease. They will conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and assist in academic publications.
