Assistant Technical Manager (several posts) in the Department of Pathology (Ref: 503292) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary)

Applicants should possess a good Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification work experience in biological sciences.  They should be highly motivated, attentive to details, and able to work independently.  Experience in handling human clinical samples would be an advantage. The appointees will work on a gastrointestinal cancer research project under the supervision of Professor S.Y. Leung, (http://www.hku.hk/patho/staff/list/syleung.html).  They will provide technical support on molecular genetic and genomic analysis, assist in tissue culture works, handle mouse models, and perform other duties as assigned.
