Senior IT Assistant in the University Health Service (Ref.: 503309) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information System or a related field, with at least 4 years’ post-qualification work experience. They should have knowledge in computer programming (PHP, HTML, MSSQL and MySQL), MS Windows and MS Office; experience in maintenance of websites; end user IT support; and troubleshooting and maintenance of computers. Knowledge of server administration and information security is desirable. Applicants should be a team player with good customer service and excellent communication skills; be self-motivated and hard-working; and have a strong sense of responsibility. The appointee will provide technical support to staff members; be responsible for troubleshooting in computing and AV facilities; maintenance of websites and specialised/integrated systems support; and perform any other duties as assigned.
