Programmer (at the rank of IT Technician / Senior IT Assistant) in the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 503970) (to commence as soon as possible for one year)
Applicants should possess a Diploma or above in computing or related subjects from a technical institute, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subjects from a University and with knowledge in computer programming: PHP, MY SQL, Python MS Excel Macro, Java, ASP.NET, ASP and CSS. Experience in developing IT system, system administration and server maintenance; and knowledge in IT security, Windows server, Exchange server, Linux, Unix and MAC would be an advantage. They should be a team player with good customer service and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and hard-working. Those with more experience may be considered as IT Technician. The appointee will be responsible for system analysis, system development, system administration, general help desk support, establishing and maintaining the overall IT infrastructure, IT project management, and website development and maintenance. He/She may also provide technical support to events and functions and perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
