Executive Officer/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 504421) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 1 year’s full-time work experience in tertiary institutions or public/quasi-public organizations. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). They should be meticulous and tactful in dealing with people, a self-disciplined team player, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A band score of 7.5 or above for writing in the IELTS is a distinctive advantage. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be appointed as Executive Assistant.
The appointee will provide general administrative and secretarial support to a research group on a wide range of matters including human resources, financial management, research administration, office management, secretarial support for meetings, and logistic support for visitors and events. He/She will also liaise with internal and external parties, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.
