Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Health Economics, Policy and Management of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508095) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in statistics or health sciences. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of biostatistics, epidemiology and data analysis would be a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Those with higher qualification and/or more experience may be considered as Research Assistant I.

The appointees will participate in interdisciplinary multi-year research programmes to evaluate a vaccine safety programme to improve COVID19 vaccination coverage and health outcomes; model the long-term spill-over impact of COVID19-related disruptions to non-communicable diseases; assess the public health burden of disease; and evaluate the statutory extension of maternity leave policy.

They will collect data, recruit patients, review literature, analyse data, prepare academic publications and reports, and perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
