Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508098) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in biostatistics, public health, preventive medicine, or a discipline related to biomedical science. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and a keen interest in research on epidemiology and public health. They should be organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as a team. Experience in carrying out fieldwork for similar projects would be an advantage.
The appointees will recruit subjects, conduct health education and collect data for a range of ongoing community field studies, and perform general administrative duties and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
