Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508212) (to commence as soon as possible for five months, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in public health, social science, psychology, statistics, or related disciplines, with at least 1 year’s work experience. They should have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese and English; and the ability to work closely with external parties such as academics and schools. They should be highly-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team. Preference will be given to those with experience in project coordination and statistical analysis. Those with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered as Research Assistant I/II.
The appointees will work in a research team under the supervision Dr. Daniel S.Y. Ho on surveys of student obesity and/or tobacco control policy. They will administer questionnaires; coordinate fieldworks; collect, manage and analyse data; write research reports; conduct literature review; and perform other duties as assigned.
