Research Assistant I/Research Assistant II in the Research Division for Molecular and Cell Biology (Ref: 508340) (to commence on January 2022 for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a M.Phil./Master’s degree, with good research experience in cell culture and molecular biology, including DNA subcloning, siRNA/shRNA transfection, lentivirus transduction, etc. Those with research experience in mouse handling and xenograft model are highly preferred. Applicants with less qualification and experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant II.

The appointee will participate in a HMRF project funded by the Food and Health Bureau, which is about how DNA bridge processing proteins are involved in drug sensitivity of colorectal cancer cells and the effectiveness of topoisomerase inhibitors for inhibiting the growth of colorectal cancer both in vitro and in vivo.
