Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508962) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, health psychology, social science, nursing or other related disciplines. They should be interested in behavioural health, behavioural interventions, health promotion and/or health communication. They should have a good command of English and Cantonese, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, a hard-working attitude, and the ability to work independently and multi-task. Experience in conducting surveys, behavioural interventions or qualitative interviews, competence in analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and good computer skills will be advantages.

The appointee will assist in research projects on behavioural health interventions and health risk communication related to health behaviours such as food choice, protection of heat stress, antibiotic use and vaccination decision. He/She will assist in literature review, field work, subject recruitment, data collection, data analysis, and other duties as assigned. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
