Research Assistant I/II in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 509079) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, science, social sciences, medical science or related disciplines, with relevant research experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good communication skills. They should be responsible, mature, organised and attentive to details. Experience in questionnaire handling, interview set-up and/or neuroimaging would be highly desirable.
The appointee will provide technical and administrative support to a research project related to environment, active living and cognitive health. He/She will conduct cognitive tests and face-to-face interviews; prepare interview reports for study subjects; collect, verify and process data with spreadsheets; monitor data collection equipment such as accelerometers and GPS monitors; assist in MRI scans; conduct on-site environment audits; handle follow-up tasks for cohort study; and perform other duties as assigned.
