Senior Research Assistant/ Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 509186) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in statistics or related disciplines, with at least three years’ research experience. They should have a strong statistical and mathematical sense, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as a team. Knowledge of statistical software (e.g. R) is required. Knowledge of programming or experience in data management would be advantages. Those with less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant I/II.
The appointees will handle large datasets, manage and analyse statistical data on infectious diseases, and assist in the preparation of academic publications and reports. On-the-job training will be provided. Enquiries about the duties of the posts should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
