Research Assistant II in the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 519568) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Biological Science. They should have a strong sense of ethical responsibility, good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Experience and/or interest in clinical research, working with patients, project coordination and using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) would be highly desirable.
The appointee will participate in translational research projects; be responsible for phase I/II clinical trial coordination and database set-up in clinical oncology, while safeguarding the confidentiality of patients; and prepare materials for the Human Research Ethics Committee and the Institutional Review Board of the University of Hong Kong/Hospital Authority Hong Kong West Cluster (HKU/HA HKW IRB).
