Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 519841) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Biological Sciences or a related discipline, preferably with experience in cell culture, virus culture, molecular cloning, protein expression, western blot assay, ELISA assay, confocal microscope, and mouse animal work. They should have a strong interest in working closely with biologists, and the ability to work independently with high motivation. Those with an interest in pursuing postgraduate studies are welcome.
The appointee will conduct research on antiviral experiments related to influenza, coronavirus, parainfluenza virus, other respiratory viruses, and drug resistance study under the supervision of Dr. Zhao Hanjun and Professor Kelvin To.
