Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

 

We now invite applications for the captioned post. The appointee will take part in training and evaluation-related administrative tasks in the capacity building team of the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project (JCECC) under the Faculty of Social Sciences.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Involve in professional training, public education and volunteer training events in end-of-life care (EoLC)
  • Assist in the promotion and participant recruitment, evaluation-related administrative tasks
  • Liaise with NGOs and relevant stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese
  • Good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in undertaking professional training, public education programmes or volunteer training programmes are preferred
  • Experience with administering e-learning platform and use of various e-learning tools will be an advantage
