Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer (holding the title of Assistant Project Director) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 526610), to commence as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should have a PhD Degree in social sciences or a master’s degree in business administration, with a minimum of eight years of teaching experience in these areas and strong record of teaching and leading organizational/project management. Preference will be given to candidates who have networks with and/or working experience in the non-profit sector. The appointee will be responsible for overseeing training projects and teaching at both undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
