Research Assistant I/II in the AIDS Institute of the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526647) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Immunology/Cancer Biology or related disciplines, preferably with laboratory work experience in molecular biology, immunological assays, primary cell culture, and handling of small animals. They should also have good computer knowledge, self-motivation, and experience in performing laboratory routines and thorough laboratory bookkeeping. The appointee will work on laboratory research under the supervision of a Principal Investigator of the Institute. Research areas include: assessment of cancer vaccine; developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies for cancer; and new vaccine design.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
