Duties and Responsibilities

  • big data and simulation modeling development in health services and web development
  • assisting with the application and validation of electronic medical record-based cohort study methodologies
  • conducting data manipulation and visualization, preparing scientific publications, grant proposals, and reports, and providing general administrative and operational support

Requirements

  • Part-time Research Assistants should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in fields such as epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related areas
  • Current undergraduate or postgraduate students with a background in computer science, applied artificial intelligence, decision analytics, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or similar fields.
  • A strong understanding of machine learning, AI applications, and quantitative skills in healthcare and policy research is highly valued
  • Experience in statistical analysis and proficiency in statistical and computer modeling software (e.g., R, Python, Matlab, SAS, C++) is advantageous
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • responsible, organized, patient, and attentive to details

 

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary part-time basis for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
