Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:527006) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in biomedical science, public health, or other healthcare-related disciplines. They should be self-motivated, highly committed, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Previous experience in database management and project coordination would be an advantage. The appointee will assist in the coordination of data collection, provide administrative support and participate in research projects related to the epidemiology and vaccine responses of respiratory virus infections (e.g. influenza) under the supervision of Principal Investigator.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
