Research Assistant II (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 527060) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other healthcare-related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); and good interpersonal and organisational skills. They should also be responsible; highly motivated; and able to work independently and in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The appointees will work under the research team led by Professor Jay Lee in coordinating ongoing research projects related to lifestyle modification (e.g. smoking cessation, physical activity, alcohol reduction) or primary health care, as well as promoting psychological well-being. They will assist in participant recruitment, data collection and perform other duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to counselling and research methods, especially on randomised controlled trials, will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
