Executive Officer (several posts) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 527114) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized degree, preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in event management or teaching and learning support.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; exceptional interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; sharp attention to details; the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills.  They should also be a good team player who could handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

For the positions in event management, the appointees will organize events of the department such as forums, seminars, lectures, press conferences/interviews; collaborate and liaise with sponsors and stakeholders; manage budgeting; maintain website and databases; manage social media channels; and perform other duties as assigned.

For the positions in teaching and learning support, the appointees will provide administrative support to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including course coordination, liaison with academics/professionals, student support service.; and perform other duties as assigned.

The appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
