Senior Research Assistant in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.:527180) (to commence as soon as possible for one or two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Chinese medicine, biological science, anatomy or other related disciplines with 1 year of work experience. Prior experience in creating anatomical drawings with a focus on meridian and acupuncture points is preferred. Those with experience in research in acupuncture related projects and a strong background in fine art or skilled in using Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint or other drawing software are advantageous. An excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), self-motivated, meticulous, ability to multi-task and highly work independently are essential.
The appointee will be involved in research projects related to anatomical drawings with a focus on meridian and acupuncture points in the field of Chinese Medicine. He/She is expected to deliver quality output and perform other duties as assigned. Enquiries about the duties of the post can be sent to Dr Wu at wujunmei@hku.hk.
