We now invite applications for appointment as Research Assistant II in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will have various responsibilities to support the instructors, which may include but are not limited to: teaching in Common Core courses, developing teaching materials, handling teaching projects, performing programme administration and clerical duties; data collection, analysis and entry; and undertaking tasks assigned by supervisors. Additionally, the appointee will collaborate closely with a team of colleagues who are dedicated to enhancing student learning through innovative pedagogical approaches in undergraduate MBBS programmes and Common Core Programmes. 

Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in life science, medical science, or a closely related field. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Previous teaching experience, along with the ability to develop creative classroom activities, would be highly valued. Effective time management skills are also desirable. Above all, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a deep motivation and passion for teaching and learning.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on a one-year temporary basis, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
