Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 527277), to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Biomedical Sciences-related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ teaching experience in life sciences courses at tertiary institutions. They should have solid classroom and online teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and be competent in curriculum development. Mentoring skills and fluency in both English and Cantonese are essential. The appointee will play a leading role in nursing education and be responsible for the teaching and coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate courses relating to life sciences. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
