Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 527441) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good university degree preferably in Communications, Social Science, or Language, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in customer service and event management. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as good knowledge in MS Office are essential. Applicants should be meticulous and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; be a good team player with the ability to multi-task and be very attentive to details. Experience in higher education sector or counselling would be an advantage.

The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the HKU Body Donation Programme and the School’s event management, and perform ad hoc and non-routine tasks as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
