Executive Officer / Clerk I (holding the functional title of Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Assistant) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531053) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 3 years’ work experience in higher education, healthcare sector or a related field.  They should be attentive to details, self-motivated, responsible, and willing to learn.   An excellent command of English and Chinese, a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, and an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Working experience in conducting public health or epidemiology survey, data analysis or management of information systems, and knowledge of statistical programming and software are preferred. Applicants with less experience would be considered for appointment as Clerk I.  

The appointee will provide executive support to clinical professoriate staff and assist in managing research projects. He/She will also handle administrative matters related to finance, assist in data analysis and compiling reports, and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
