Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Project Development Officer) in the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole, School of Public Health (Ref: 531330), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

HKU-Pasteur Research Pole is a joint laboratory created as a long-term collaborative project between the Institut Pasteur and the University of Hong Kong (HKU) (www.hkupasteur.hku.hk/).  We are seeking dedicated Executive Officer to work on the development of Strategic Plan within the Pasteur Network for Asia-Pacific.  He/She will work closely with other Pasteur Network team members and develop relationships with representatives of key organizations and bodies within the Asia-Pacific region.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree or above, with background in health, public policy, science, medicine, or business, along with 10 years' experience in similar functions (e.g., consultant, project manager with a strategic focus, etc.). They should demonstrate a good command of written and spoken English and French; self-motivation; a strong sense of responsibility; flexibility, adaptability, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. They should be familiar with project management, possess experience in strategic development and international outreach, and have a track record of monitoring funding and lobbying opportunities with major international organizations. Proven experience in skills transfer and training would also be advantageous.  The role may involve regional and international travel. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
