Research Assistant I/II] [Technical Assistant in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 531606)

Duties and Responsibilities
- perform literature reviews for a community pharmacy-related project
- prepare human ethics applications for research projects
- design the logistics of patient recruitment in the study
- communicate with community partners for recruitment and logistics support
- arrange and facilitate survey completion with participants
- conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- prepare reports and manuscripts
- perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in healthcare-related or social sciences disciplines, including but not limited to health economics, public health, pharmacy, nursing, biostatistics, psychology, social work, and social administration or a related field.
- Experience in conducting mixed methods studies (e.g. patient recruitment, conducting individual and/or focus group interviews, designing questionnaires for survey studies, survey validation, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative analyses using various tools, e.g. NVivo, Qualtrics, R, STATA), quality of life research, or economic evaluations will be an advantage
- A relevant background in liaising research projects with pharmacy or IRB preparations will be advantageous
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Attentive to details

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
