Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 533506), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, Life Science or a related field, and demonstrate exceptional experimental, writing, and communication abilities. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in neural circuit interrogation, neural coding underlying behavior, animal studies, and research work related to neuroscience.
Applicants should have good communication skills, be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task with attention to detail, be organized and be able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. The appointee will work on research projects related to the neural circuitry underlying behaviors in octopus and mouse.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
