Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 534630)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct research on the epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology of age-related diseases, including osteoporosis, sarcopenia, frailty, and other endocrine and metabolism related diseases.
  • Lead research projects investigating the genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics of osteoporosis and related diseases.
  • Publish original research articles in high-impact journals.
  • Secure external competitive grants.
  • Engage in collaborative projects both internally and externally.
  • Supervise and co-supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. degree, preferably in epidemiology, pharmacology, bioinformatics, data science, or related fields.
  • At least 2–3 years of postdoctoral research experience is preferred.
  • Strong background in big data analytics, machine learning, and multi-omics.
  • Strong track record of high-quality research, demonstrated by publications and successful grant applications.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • A high sense of responsibility and research integrity, with the ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under pressure.

 

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, with the possibility of renewal up to 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
