Senior Executive Secretary (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the General Services of the Registry (Ref.: 534662) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
 
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least five years of secretarial or administrative work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution or a large organisation.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong organisational, interpersonal, communication, innovative, problem solving, multi tasking and time management skills.  They should also have a high level of integrity when handling confidential information, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and under pressure, and a strong sense of responsibility.  Proficiency in MS Office and overall IT competence are essential.
 
The appointee will provide secretarial support to the Registrar, including managing calendars and schedules, handling incoming correspondence, coordinating meetings, liaising with other offices within the University and various external stakeholders, and providing assistance to ad hoc projects and events.  He/She will also provide support to the Head and administrators of the General Services, such as committee servicing and preparation of budget proposals and expenses reports.  He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.  
 
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
