Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 536232) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least two years’ full-time work experience. They must have strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese, excellent organizational and communication skills, and high computer literacy. They should be capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The appointee will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support department finance matters, including assisting with procurement processes, coordinating purchase orders, processing invoice payments and arranging reimbursements. They will manage financial data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university policies, and maintain organized records of financial transactions, invoices and receipts. The role also involves performing general office administration, with additional duties assigned as needed. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and assessment.
