Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Asia Case Research Centre, Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536300) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and mutual agreement.)
 
The Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC) at the Faculty of Business and Economics, the University of Hong Kong is a world leading centre for the development of business case studies. We work with faculty, researchers and industry partners in producing high-quality, Asia-focused cases that are used in business schools around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the Centre's operations, case management activities, and digital communications.
Key Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: 
 
Case Management
 
• manage the publication of case studies and teaching notes; communicate with distributors and complete required submission documents;
 
• coordinate the process of translating cases on the ACRC website into Chinese and ensure timely completion of translations for smooth and effective implementation;
 
Contract Management
 
• oversee contractual agreements with case writers, translators and editors;
 
• coordinate the appointment and recruitment process for student research assistants and contractors; 
 
• organise payments for contractors;
 
Customer and Order Administration
 
• maintain the customer database and communicate with internal and external customers;
 
• review orders and follow up on internal orders; manage translation and book publishing requests;
 
Royalty Management
 
• manage royalties received from distributors and royalty payments to case authors;
 
• follow up with supervisors and handle enquiries with the Finance Enterprises Office;
Social Media and Digital Communications
 
• maintain and manage ACRC's social media presence across key platforms;
 
• develop and schedule content to promote case studies, events and Centre activities;
 
• support digital communications initiatives to enhance the Centre's visibility and engagement;
 
Office Administration
 
• liaise with internal and external suppliers and service providers;
 
• manage payments and keep financial records; and
 
• perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
 
Applicants should possess:
 
• a good bachelor's degree;
 
• proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
 
• strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint;
 
• experience managing social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, WeChat, Instagram, or similar) and the use of relevant content creation software;
 
• excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills;
 
• ability to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team; and
 
• mature, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and with a strong sense of responsibility. 
 
• All work will take place within normal office hours, no work outside office hours will be expected.
