Multimedia Designer (at the rank of Technical Officer / Senior Technical Assistant) in HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (Ref.: 537010) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a Diploma or above in Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, Creative Media or equivalent disciplines, with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in graphic design, photography or videography. They should be flexible, creative, passionate, willing to learn and self-motivated, with good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. A strong sense of responsibility, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and deliver quality results within a tight timeframe, both independently and as a team player, are essential. Applicants are advised to include their portfolio with their applications.

The appointee will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing engaging and visually appealing designs materials and contents for the Institute. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or other graphic design software is essential. Proven experience in photography, reel and video shooting / editing, website design and social media platform management is necessary. Knowledge and experience in e-marketing will be a plus. The appointee will also perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. Applicants with lower academic qualifications and less work experience may be considered for appointment as Multimedia Designer (at the rank of Senior Technical Assistant).
