Half-time Executive Officer in the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 495857) ( to commence on September 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least three year’s experience; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); the ability to work independently with initiative; and good organizational and communication skills. Practical experience in organizing education seminars, education events and play-related events are required.
The appointee will be responsible for education advocacy by implementing social media campaigns to boost the awareness of parents, teachers and general public on play education; liaising with external parties on event management; organising play-related activities for adults/children; and performing other tasks as assigned. Occasional work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
